02/07/2008 It's Alive! Printing
I sent the It's Alive! artwork to the printers today, all being well I should get the games back at my warehouse around the end of the month. There are about four weeks left to pre-order the game before it becomes widely available.
12/06/2008 It's Alive! Reprinted
Following the sell-out of the It's Alive! Limited Edition, I'll be issuing a re-print in July. The re-print will be professionally manufactured, and hence available more widely than the hand-made version. It can be pre-ordered from the It's Alive! page or alternatively ask your favourite retailer to stock it and buy it from them.

Yehuda Berlinger has been nominated for Best New Designer in The Dice Tower Gaming Awards. Tom Vasel's The Dice Tower is a well-respected board gaming website, so this is a big deal for both Yehuda and Reiver Games.

The limited edition of It's Alive! has now sold out after a great weekend at Beer & Pretzels. Sorry to those of you who wanted a copy but were unable to get one due to the exchange rate.

17/04/2008 Carpe Astra Announced
Reiver games is proud to announce their third game: Carpe Astra - Seize the Stars by Ted Cheatham (Silk Road) and Jackson Pope (Border Reivers). It's a networking game set in humanity's future, where players compete as contenders for the galactic throne, trying to gain enough support from the powerful guilds to overthrow the current Emperor. Previously known as 'Codename: Network', Carpe Astra will be professionally manufactured, if you would like a copy, either email me to be added to the pre-order list (and entitled to a 30% discount) or alternatively contact your favourite store and ask them to stock it.
07/04/2008 Reiver Games Go Pro!
Reiver Games has gone professional. Not only have I quit my day job, to concentrate on building up the company, but I've also decided to move into professionally manufactured games too. This means that our games should be more widely available in shops, and hence cheaper for my overseas customers.

01/10/2007 It's Alive! Featured On The Dice Tower
It's Alive! was featured positively on The Dice Tower in Episode 106. As a result, I've created a press page for It's Alive! with links to all the reviews I'm aware of.

25/08/2007 The Cast Are Dice 2007
After releasing Border Reivers at the inaugural The Cast Are Dice last year we attended again this year. The convention was a great success, with It's Alive! selling more copies than we expected, and yet not running out of stock like we did at the UK Games Expo.
13/07/2007 Border Reivers Sells Out
Eleven months to the day after Border Reivers was released the last two copies were claimed and shipped. These had been ordered a couple of months earlier.
03/06/2007 UK Games Expo A Huge Success
Border Reivers sold out at the inaugural UK Games Expo along with the entire stock we'd taken of It's Alive!. It's Alive! was extremely well received, and we now have interest in our games from other publishers and distributors.
21/05/2007 Border Reivers Almost Gone
Border Reivers was well received at Beer & Pretzels, and then the interview ran in the Yorkshire Post (see below). As a result there's been a run on Border Reivers and there's only a handful of copies left. I'm going to concentrate on It's Alive! next, and there are no plans at the moment to re-print Border Reivers, so if you'd like a signed and numbered, limited edition copy get your order in now.

19/04/2007 Profitable First Year
Reiver Games has made a profit in its first year, despite only nine months of trading. Thanks to everyone who has bought a copy of Border Reivers. Hopefully It's Alive! will do as well, if not even better, during the 2007/08 financial year.

Reiver Games announce a new title: It's Alive! a set collection and auction game by Yehuda Berlinger. Visit the It's Alive pages for more information. This was previously known as Codename: Monster while it was being playtested.
05/02/2007 Border Reivers European Postage
I've just found out that posting Border Reivers to Europe is cheaper than I thought! If you live in Europe postage is now only £4.49. Check with Royal Mail to see if your location counts as Europe by their definition.

01/09/2006 Reiver Games At Psychocon 2006
Reiver Games will be attending Pyschocon 2006 at the Riva Hotel in Leeds, UK from Friday 13th October until Sunday 15th October. If you're going too, feel free to pop over and say hi. We'll be demonstrating and selling the limited edition of Border Reivers at the convention on the Saturday and Sunday only.
23/08/2006 Codename: Jorvik Enters Playtesting
Reiver Games announce the development of Codename: Jorvik a 2-player light card game designed to play in under half an hour. The game will be language independent and will feature card placement and some player confrontation. More details will follow as the game nears publishing. Regular updates about the development can be found on Jack's blog.

A limited edition of Border Reivers by Jackson Pope has been released just in time to be launched at The Cast Are Dice 2006. Each one of the 100 copies is signed by the designer and numbered. This edition is hand-assembled to order, and strictly limited to 100 copies, so order now to reserve a copy and we'll assemble it and ship it to you as soon as possible.
